Maria Berta, SPHR, LEED Green Associate, leads our HR and Recruiting practice. With over 20 years of experience, Maria brings deep expertise in building organizational structure, culture, and talent strategies from the ground up. Formerly an HR Director for a national engineering firm, she has successfully sourced and staffed entire engineering practices, opened new branch locations, and reorganized and streamlined HR departments.

Maria works with a wide range of companies, from tech start-ups and manufacturers to architecture firms, restaurant groups, and international organizations. She combines practical knowledge of California labor law with the ability to deliver HR solutions for clients across all 50 states.
