Maria is a performance-oriented HR Professional and Start-Up Veteran. She has helped build numerous high performance businesses including Rumsey Engineers, Integral Group, Building Robotics, Point Energy, and Sustainabilist. She helped build Rumsey Engineers from 3 people in a garage into an award-winning national firm with 6 US locations, and a staff of 100. Maria was instrumental in establishing the firm’s infrastructure, which resulted in several firm awards, including "Top 50 Engineering Companies" by INC Magazine in 2009, "Top AEC Firms to Work For" by Building Design + Construction Magazine in 2009 and one of the first JUST Labels ever in 2013 - a revolutionary HR and Investment transparency reporting platform. She later went on to Co-Found Point Energy Innovations helping it grow into a premier green building design firm, and was featured by Google as a Preferred Provider.
